A fire broke out at Don Bosco School located in the Park Circus area of central Kolkata on Wednesday. The fire reportedly broke out on the roof of the building.
Students saw smoke coming out of the roof of the school building and immediately informed the teachers.
The school authorities evacuated the students safely from the school without spreading panic, while a few teachers went to the roof to assess the situation.
Four fire engines were rushed to the spot after the school authorities informed the West Bengal Fire and Emergency Services Department.
The fire has been brought under control, but fire fighters are still at the spot securing the area
The cause of the fire is still not known. No one has been injured in the incident.
