Update: 1.22 pm IST: Sources at the site of the oil factory, which had gone up in flames on Monday morning, in Hooghly district, West Bengal confirmed that no casualties have been reporded.
Investigation about the reason for the fire is still underway.
Factory workers alleged that a part of the factory had been damaged in a fire two days ago, reports Press Trust of India.
Original Story: A major fire broke out in an oil factory in Chanditala area of West Bengal's Hoogly district on Monday, 18 January. As many as 10 fire brigades were at the location to douse the intense blaze.
No casualties have been reported so far.
