Fans of the sci-fi film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" are ready to meet their beloved characters on screen, and among them are EXO members. By their own admission, the kpop band members are huge fansboys of the franchise, and they revealed their love for the saga in a new video.
As part of SM Entertainment and Walt Disney's collaboration, EXO members Suho, Chen and Kai promoted the film in South Korea. The members did a photo-shoot and interview with fashion magazine Vogue, and revealed what they loved best about the sci-fi film series.
During the interview, EXO leader Suho said: "We're all big fans of 'Star Wars', so we've mentioned 'Star Wars' a lot in the past. When we were asked if we wanted to become honorary ambassadors for the film, we happily said it would be great."
For EXO member Sehun, the film has a personal significance. He said his band mate Chanyeol reminds him of Yoda, and hence he likes the Jedi master the most.
On his part, Suho said, "I like the cute robot R2-D2. I use an R2-D2 chain for my car keys." He even did a hilarious impression of the robot, reported Soompi.
Meanwhile, latest news suggests the band will make its stage comeback on MBC's "Music Core" on Monday, 21 December. According to the website, EXO will perform their new single "Song For You", an acoustic pop ballad.
