One of the Bollywood's favourite on-screen couple, Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, were rumoured to feature in Kick 2. But the recent buzz is that the duo will not appear in the sequel, but will share screen space in Remo D'Souza's ABCD 3.
Remo's ABCD franchise has done good business with its previous instalments and now, Salman's presence in the third one will help the franchise to earn big.
"ABCD was a sleeper hit. ABCD 2 starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor and was the first dance film to do Rs. 100 crore. ABCD 3 is getting bigger and needs a superstar for its third calling. Remo is extremely pleased everything has fallen in place," a source told DNA.
The film is expected to release next year on Eid. In the movie, the actor will finally act his age. Salman will reportedly play father to a 13-year-old in ABCD 3. The source said: "Salman starts Remo's film right after he wraps up TZH (Tiger Zinda Hai). And the heroine has been finalised. Remo took his film to Jackie and she has liked the idea. She is out of the country, so once she's back, he will sit down with her for a full script narration and lock her for the film."
This means we'll get to see Salman's dance moves. Though he is not a good dancer, he has his own unique moves and people love them. On the other hand, Jacqueline is an amazing dancer and she also has worked with Salman in Kick.
"Salman and his daughter need to compete for a dance championship. Jackie plays the role of their dance teacher who helps them learn the ropes of different styles of dance forms," the source added.
