Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan's fans are eagerly waiting for these two to work together, but it has not happened yet. The recent buzz is that there are chances of Deepika and Salman to unite for a biopic on Helen.
According to The Quint, Salman and father Salim Khan are planning to make a biopic as a tribute to Helen. She is the second wife of Salim and known as the Bollywood's Cabaret Queen of the 1960s and 70s. Till date, nobody has managed to match the grace and sophistication she brought on screen.
While the talks of her biopic are doing the rounds, Helen was being asked at a comedy show whom did she think could essay her on-screen, she immediately said: "Padukone!"
Deepika, who gave a glimpse of her Helen side in Om Shanti Om, seems to be a good choice. But, the combination of elegance and dance the yesteryear diva brought into cinema, is difficult to match.
However, Deepika and Salman's fans will be happy to learn that these two are atleast working together, no matter that they are not sharing screen space. According to reports, Helen's biopic would be produced by Salman Khan and scripted by Salim Khan.
But the question is whether Salman will cast Deepika or not. The actress has turned down many projects opposite Salman in the past due to date issues. Now, Salman has Katrina Kaif, who has proved her dancing skills in every film plus they have history.
Interestingly, But that didn't work out and Deepika made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
