Suriya's Soorarai Pottru and Allu Arjun's Pushpa swept the key awards in Tamil and Telugu respectively. While Biju Menon and Dhananjay grabbed the best actors for Ayyapanum Koshyum and Badava Rascal respectively. Late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar was honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
