Filmfare Awards 2016 is set to roll out on 15 January in Mumbai, and speculations are at its peak.
According to Catch News, Shah Rukh Khan will be hosting the awards night with Kapil Sharma by his side. For the funny man, it's his second time, whereas SRK is pretty much Filmfare's favourite emcee.
Last year, Karan Johar and Sharma brought the house down with their funny one-liners and side-splitting gags, but nothing beats SRK and Saif Ali Khan's comic-timing. They have returned as hosts for the prestigious ceremony quite a few times and are pretty awesome at what they bring to the table.
The nasty jibes and cruel digs may have landed the two in trouble in terms of the relationship they shared with their peers, but that's what makes the show worth one's time. However, it will be interesting to see SRK and Sharma pair up for the event.
The chances of them getting along like a house on fire are high because they have appeared on "Comedy Nights With Kapil" quite a few times, and on all occasions managed to create good laughs. On one of his recent visits to the comedy show, SRK even did a little stand-up act with Sharma.
Meanwhile, the nominations list is out and some predictable names are sitting on it. "Bajirao Mastani", "Piku", "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", "Dilwale", "Tamasha" and "Badlapur" are some of the nominees.
