Salman Khan's stellar act at the recently-concluded Filmfare Awards 2016 wasn't as shiny and glossy as it appeared to be.
According to a Mid-Day source, the cage-like aerial structure he arrived in was wobbly and couldn't hold his weight because of which it lowered rapidly scaring the living daylights out of the audience seated only 4 feet below it.
"His entry vehicle was supposed to fly much above the seated guests, but it started descending rapidly. He panicked as it was swinging dangerously, just four feet above the audience's heads and they appeared scared. He did reach the stage but not in a heroic way as planned," the insider further elaborated.
He may have delivered a stunning performance but post it he went around banging tables and kicking chairs backstage. Angry and upset with the not-so-perfect arrangement, the "Sultan" actor reportedly showered his staff and choreographer Mudassar Khan with expletives.
"Alia had greeted the star earlier and on spotting him post his performance, she wanted to talk to him. But, when she realised that he was in a bad mood, she quietly left. Varun was also there and decided not to meet him," added the source.
Mudassar, however, rubbished the incident saying the act happened just the way it was planned adding that the superstar never yelled at him.
In other news, the award show saw "Bajirao Mastani" walk away with nine awards, whereas "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" received only one. Branding the ceremony "fake", some of Salman's fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment over the Kabir Khan directorial being sidelined.
