The nomination list of one of the most prestigious awards shows Filmfare Awards is out and as expected Ranveer Singh's "Bajirao Mastani", which turned out to be a game changer, has bagged the maximum nominations.
"Bajirao Mastani" bagged eight nominations, which is the highest, followed by Varun Dhawan's "Badlapur" that received six nominations. "Piku", "Dilwale" and "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" received five nominations each, but Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" bagged only three nominations.
Surprisingly, Akshay Kumar's critically acclaimed movie "Baby" did not find a place in the nomination list, which has been classified into 10 different categories, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actors.
The 61st edition of the Britannia Filmfare Awards will take place on 15 January at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in Mumbai. For the first time, viewers can watch the Filmfare Awards live. For more details on where and how to book tickets, click here.
