It looks like Italian auto-maker Fiat is ready to roll out the Urban Cross in India soon. The Urban Cross, the model based on the company's Avventura crossover, was part of Fiat's pavilion at the Auto Expo 2016 along with Punto Pure and the Linea 125S.
While the company launched the powerful version of the Lien sedan, the Linea 125S, in the country in July, the Urban Cross will be launched in India in September, Carandbike reported. The new Urban Cross, which will come in the Abarth avatar, is powered by 1.4Tjet petrol engine that is tuned to belt out 140bhp of power and 210Nm of torque.
From a visual stand point, the Urban Cross gets newly-styled front and rear fascia with new front grille, side mouldings, roof rack with LED lighting and 17-inch alloys. Inside the cabin, Urban Cross features 5-inch touchscreen display with audio navigation and dual-tone dash board. In terms of dimensions, Urban Cross measures 3,989mm in length, 1,706mm in width and 1,542mm in height.
Fiat Linea 125S, which also gets a 1.4 litre petrol engine under the hood, has been priced at Rs. 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes with a host of features, like 5-inch touchscreen system with audio navigation, soft touch instrument panel, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and rear-parking sensors. On the safety front, Linea 125 S gets ABS with EBD, passenger and side airbags, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
