Fiat India updated its website in October with the details of the upcoming limited edition models — Punto Karbon and Line Royale. Emerging reports now indicate that the special edition has been launched and it is available for purchase as an aftermarket fitment.
The special kit has been priced at a premium of Rs 35,000 over the regular model, IndianAutosBlog reported. The Punto Carbon kit is available only with diesel Emotion variant, while the Linea Royale is based on the diesel Dynamic variant.
The Punto Carbon is draped in Bossanova White exterior colour, in contrast with the black roof. It also features a black-coloured decal over the shoulder line. Behind the doors of the second row, Punto special edition features Karbon badging. The special kit for Punto Karbon also features black coloured upholstery with stitching in contrast, while door panels get beige padding.
The Linea Royale features New Pearl White body colour in contrast to the matte black roof. The special version of the sedan also features black alloy wheels and a metal 'Royale' badge placed under the C-pillar. On the inside, it gets tanned leather upholstery. That same material is also seen on the dashboard as well as the door inserts, lending a premium feel inside the cabin.
The Punto Karbon is powered by 90bhp 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine. The mill develops 209Nm of torque mated to five-speed manual transmission. The Linea Royale is sold with 1.4-litre engine under the hood, which can churn out 124bhp of power and 210Nm of torque. The transmission of the sedan is taken care of by five-speed manual gearbox.
