Fiat India has updated its website adding image and details of the limited edition models of the Punto hatchback and Linea sedan. The website now shows details of the Punto Karbon and Line Royale limited edition models. Both new versions are expected to be launched soon.
Both Punto Karbon and Linea Royale will come draped in pure white shade with a contrasting Black coloured roof. The Punto Karbon also features a black coloured decal over the shoulder line. Behind the doors of second row Punto special edition features Karbon badging, while Linea's special edition features Royale badge. No other changes can be spotted externally in the special edition over the respective regular version.
On the interior, Linea Royale gets tanned leather upholstery. That same material is also seen in the dashboard as well as door inserts that lends a premium feel inside the cabin. The Punto Karbon get a black coloured upholstery with contrasting stitching while door panels gets beige colour padding.
The Punto Karbon will be sold only with 90bhp 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine. The mill develops 209Nm of torque mated to five-speed manual transmission. The Linea Royale will be sold with 1.4-litre engine under the hood, which can churn out 124bhp of power and 210Nm of torque. The transmission of the sedan is taken care of by five-speed manual gearbox.
Fiat India has not divulged details on the pricing and the number of special edition units to be produced. The company is expected to launch special edition in the first week of November.
