Italian auto-maker Fiat has announced the launch of a more powerful version of its sedan, the Linea 125 S, in India. The Linea 125 S has been priced at Rs. 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Powered by 1.4 litre petrol engine, which can churn out 124bhp of power and 210Nm of torque, the Linea 125 S is the most powerful version of the Linea sedan. The transmission in the new sedan is taken care of by five-speed manual gearbox.
Fiat had showcased the Linea 125 S at the Auto Expo 2016 in February along with Punto Pure, Urban Cross. The sedan, that is rivalled by the Honda City, comes with a host of features, like 5-inch touchscreen system with audio navigation, soft touch instrument panel, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and rear-parking sensors. On the safety front, the Fiat's powerful sedan Linea 125 S gets ABS with EBD, passenger and side airbags, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India (FCA) also offers a warranty of 3 years/100,000 km with service intervals of 15,000 km.
Fiat is also expected to launch the Avventura Urban Cross in India during the festive season this year. Powered by 1.4Tjet petrol engine that is tuned to belt out 140bhp of power and 210Nm of torque, the Fiat Avventura Urban Cross is based on the Avventura crossover. It measures 3,989mm in length, 1,706mm in width and 1,542mm in height.
