Italian automaker Fiat's Indian arm FCA India Automobiles Private Limited has initiated a week-long check-up campaign for its vehicles at exclusive dealerships starting from 5 October.
The chek-up camp that will conclude on 10 October is aimed towards extending the customer support across the country.
As part of the campaign, FCA India is offering 10% discount on labour pertaining to mechanical repair and free top wash. The ambient light and ghost lights, which is originally priced at Rs 1,250 and Rs 1,460 respectively, can be bought at just Rs 990 during the check-up camp.
FCA exclusive dealership executives will contact existing customers through text messages and e-mails to inform them about the camps. FCA India will also be promoting the check-up camp through Facebook and Twitter.
Speaking about the initiative, Kevin Flynn -- President and Managing Director at Fiat Operations -- said, "FCAs commitment to the Indian market is massive and gaining customer satisfaction is the topmost priority. FCA India is curating programs that are aimed at enhancing consumer connect and this nationwide check-up camp is a part of the initiative. FCA India has been rolling out routine programs through which the current FIAT owners can get technical support and keep their cars in check."
Fiat India is currently in the process of expanding its portfolio with new cars. The company was selling Punto Evo hatchback, Linea Classic sedan, Linea sedan and Avventura crossover in the country till August. Now, the company has introduced its performance brand Abarth in India with the launch of the Abarth 595 Competizione on 4 August. The Punto Abarth is the next in the pipeline and rumour has it that it will be launched on 10 October.
Additionally, the company is also planning to launch the Jeep brand with three vehicles -- Grand Cherokee, Wrangler and Wrangler unlimited -- in 2016.
