Italian car maker Fiat is all set to pull the wraps off its new crossover Avventura in India on 21 October (Tuesday).
For the auto enthusiasts in the country, it has been a long wait for Fiat Avventura since its premier at Delhi Auto Expo. Now the company is finally ready to present its Punto Evo-based crossover to its fans in the domestic market.
Just to remind you, Fiat Avventura, the crossover based on the company's Punto Evo hatchback will come to our market in three trims levels in both petrol and diesel engines-Active, Dynamic and Emotion.
As for the engines, the petrol version of Avventura will get 1.4-litre engine, which can pump in a power of 89bhp and a peak torque 115Nm, whereas the diesel model of the car will get power from the the 1.3-litre multijet motor that can churn out 92bhp of power and 208Nm of peak torque. While the petrol Avventura is likely to give a fuel efficiency of 14.4 kmpl, the diesel model of the crossover is expected to give a return of 20.5 kmpl. Both the engines will come coupled to a five-speed manual transmission.
Avventura Active
Rear mounted spare wheel with cover and rear fog lamps and 16-inch alloy wheels along with dual-tone dashboard, automatic door locking, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, keyless entry and tilt-adjustable steering.
Avventura Dynamic
Anti-Lock-Braking system with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and electrically-adjustable OVRMs in addition to the features offered in the Active.
Avventura Emotion
Automatic climate control, leather wrapped steering wheel and front and rear passenger airbags.
Expected to get a price tag in the range of ₹6 lakh, the new Avventura will be competing with Toyota Etios Cross and Volkswagen Cross Polo in India. The company, which commenced the prelaunch bookings for the Avventura in the country earlier last month, has reportedly received more than 300 till date, according to Rushlane.
