Fiat Avventura Bookings Cross 500 in India; Waiting Period, Price Details

Italian car maker Fiat launched its Avventura crossover in the country just a few days back. Now a new report claims that the company has received over 500 bookings for its new offering.

A new report of IndianAutosBlog says that Fiat Avventura has got 500 booking and more than 15,000 enquiries in India. The report also adds that the company has started the delivery of the new car for those who pre-ordered and the buyers who are booking the car now may get a waiting period of couple of weeks.

Launched on 21 October, Fiat Avventura has been priced at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-Delhi).The car, which is based on the company's hatchback Punto Evo, is being offered in both petrol and diesel engines in the country.

Under the hood, the petrol version of Avventura gets power from 1.4-litre engine, which can pump in a power of 89bhp and a peak torque 115nm, while the diesel model of the car is powered by the 1.3-litre multijet motor that can churn out 92bhp of power and 208nm of peak torque. Both the engines come coupled to a five-speed manual transmission and offer a fuel efficiency of 14.4kmpl for petrol and 20.5kmpl for diesel.

The features of the car include aluminium roof rails, body cladding and 16-inch alloy wheels.
