In season 3 of AMC's horror-drama show Fear the Walking Dead, it seems that Daniel Salazar will finally return from the death.
Daniel (Ruben Blades) seemingly died in season 1 when he was burnt to death in a house fire after witnessing the death of his wife. However, recent rumours, state that since it was not confirmed whether he died or not, there is a significant possibility of his return.
For the entire season 2, Daniel was absent from the show. However, Dave Erickson, executive producer of the show, has hinted a comeback of the character and also stated that it will be a different kind of role for the character.
"For us, Daniel is still in the world, and it's important that the characters think he's gone, but there's always a chance that he might reemerge," Erickson said.
It seems from Erickson's statement that Daniel is alive for sure and it will be definitely interesting to watch him returning in the next season.
In the meanwhile, Madison (portrayed by Kim Dickens) and Nick (Frank Dillane) will find each other in the upcoming season too. Madison has been travelling with Travis (portrayed by Cliff Curtis) and Alicia (portrayed by Alycia Debnam-Carey) while Nick was journeying with Luciana (portrayed by Danay Garcia).
"In terms of narrative direction in season 3, we are putting our characters on a collision course, ultimately. And I think a lot of those threads will start to come together," Erickson assured.
Besides it, Erickson also confirmed that season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead will be set in the north and south of the border. It might also feature the refugee camp that Nick and Luciana found in the second season.
Though there is no exact air date, Fear the Walking Dead is expected to release next year on AMC.
