AMC's horror-drama series "Fear the Walking Dead" is currently on a midseason break and won't be back before a couple of months. However, once the show returns, the fans will witness significant changes as the survivors will decide to split into separate groups instead of journeying together.
In Episode 8, Nick (Frank Dillane), who is trying his best to get over his drug addiction, will be reluctant to leave the premises of Celia's (Marlene Forte) compound, against his mother, Madison's (Kim Dickens) will.
Madison has a strong reason not to trust the Mexican survivors after she discovered something shocking inside one of the cellars in the hacienda. However, before she could have thought of a way to get Nick out of the place, the Mexican survival zone was met with a terrible destruction.
The incident left Nick dazed and he assumed that more than the walkers and Celia's folks, his own family is much dangerous as they are determined to destroy anything or anyone that comes in their path in order to secure themselves.
In the midseason finale titled "Shiva," Madison lost it when she witnessed her son walking to a horde of walkers, unarmed and without any protection. Lucky for Nick, he had been observing the zombies for long and knew how to blend in with them. However, whether his deceptive tricks will last for long or not, will be seen only in the upcoming episodes.
Undead Walking has reported that it is just a temporary state of Nick's mind and he will soon come back to the reality. It is also crucial as to survive and make sure that he is alive, Nick needs to stick with the people whom he can trust.
Talking with International Business Times UK, Cliff Curtis, who portrays the role of Travis in the show, discussed about his decision to leave the others in order to find the whereabouts of his son, Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie).
"His son is his primary concern now, and that's going to be a problem for their relationship and his relationship with the kids," Curtis said.
