Season 2 of AMC's horror drama series "Fear the Walking Dead" is still two weeks away from premiering as the first episode will air April 10. However, several pieces of information regarding the upcoming season have been made available to the fans.
The season will pick up from where the Season 1 finale left, which means the viewers will witness the journey of Travis (Cliff Curtis) and others as they head towards Strand's (Colman Domingo) Los Angeles mansion to escape the zombie plague and walkers.
Travis and his family, along with others, have escaped through Strand's yacht as they believe that walkers can't swim in the water. However, they are unaware of the threats that await them on their path.
As reported by Inquisitr, Even though the survivors of the yacht, which is fondly called "Abigail" by Strand, are sure that the walkers can't swim, they are unaware that the zombies are able to "float" on the water and hence can reach them from any direction.
According to the website, the zombies don't need oxygen as they can't breathe and they do not drown too, hence, the water won't provide much safety to Travis and other crew members of Abigail.
However, it seems that the walkers are not the only threat that the crew of Abigail has; the teaser trailer of Season 2 showed that the survivors onboard the Abigail will face another group of survivors who are violent and savage enough to kill anybody to survive.
From the look of the trailer, it seems that Season 2 of "Fear the Walking Dead" will be much violent and gory than Season 1 and will include several new elements.
Recently, AMC has also released a behind-the-scene footage revealing that the series is being filmed in Baja Mexico, as reported by Screen Crush. The video also features a glimpse of Strand's huge yacht that would be a major element in the upcoming season.
"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 is all set to air April 10 on AMC.
