AMC's horror-drama series "Fear the Walking Dead" is all set to return with its next episode in August and recently several rumours and speculations have been surfacing over the internet regarding the plot of the second part of Season 2 and how the story may unfold.
Game n Guide has reported that the primary characters of the series will find it tougher to survive the current circumstances in the upcoming episodes and their patience will be tested.
In the previous episodes of the show, though the survivors had a hard time protecting themselves from the walkers, they always had some sort of protection; first they had Victor Strand's (Colman Domingo) yacht, and when they shifted to the hacienda, they had plenty of food and water.
However, in the upcoming episodes, the survivors will find themselves vulnerable in the open, without any protection or shelter and with only their wits to make sure they don't get killed.
According to Game n Guide, once Season 2 returns, the survivors will be seen struggling hard to find a shelter and stay hidden from the walkers. However, on their journey, they are going to meet several deadly and horrifying hurdles and they will find it rather difficult to find a "safe haven."
Besides it, the survivors are no more travelling in groups as after the incident in the hacienda, everyone went on their separate paths and decided to deal with the zombie apocalypse on their own way. Whether it will be a good idea or not, will be seen once the next episode airs.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, show-runner Dave Erickson discussed the latest strategy of the show and said: "We're going to see each group, with one exception, struggling to find a place. There are going to be some close calls for everyone. 'Fear the Walking Dead'."
Season 2 Episode 8 is scheduled to air on Aug. 21 on AMC. The name of the episode has not been revealed yet.
