In the mid-season finale of "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2, Celia (Marlene Forte) was last seen locked by Madison (Kim Dickens) in the cell with all the infected workers of the Abigail estate.
Afterwards, the whole mansion was set on fire by Daniel (Rubén Blades) and Celia was never seen by the viewers since then. It was assumed that whether she was bitten or was burnt alive with the undead with whom she was trapped inside the cell.
Forte told the Daily Bread in an interview that there might be a possibility that fans will get to Cecilia again.
"I was really hoping that would be the case, but once you show up on 'In Memoriam' [on 'Talking Dead'], it's hard," Forte said, "I was like, 'Just let me come back. Am I coming back?' but Cliff [Curtis], who plays Travis, was wonderful and he said, 'Sweetheart, unless we see you as a dead person with a bullet in your head, unless you've got something in your head, you could still come back again.' Maybe she'll come back as a zombie. Who knows?"
Show-runner Dave Erickson also talked with Entertainment Weekly about the character of Celia.
"I think she has a half a second of alarm," Erickson said, "But she's a believer, and I think the thing for Celia ultimately is, it's a little bit disconcerting initially, and this is not the road she thought she was going to go on, at least not this soon. But she quickly recovers."
"I mean, look, she's somebody who believes the dead are not dead. She believes it's just the continued evolution, and she believes it's natural. So if she truly believes these things, and she does, then she's better equipped at embracing her own death and her own resurrection as the infected. So it only fazes her for a second, and then she settles into it quite nicely," Erickson further explained.
