"Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi" Season 5 ("KKK 5") hosted by Rohit Shetty recently shot the show's finale with Ajay Devgn, while Kareena Kapoor Khan was missing from the scene.
Shetty, who is presently filming "Singham Returns" with Devgn and Khan is said to have invited the actors to grace the adventure reality show's finale.
Even though "KKK 5" was shot entirely in South Africa, the winner's name was held up to keep the suspense. And recently the finale episode was shot announcing the winner from amongst the top three contestants Nikitin Dheer, Gurmeet Choudhary and Rajniesh Duggall.
Devgn appeared in the episode as special invitee, but his co-star Khan apparently gave the shoot a miss owing to ill health. The "Heroine" actress reportedly had viral fever and could not make it to "KKK 5" finale shoot.
But a report by The Times of India has questioned Khan's ill health. The report claimed that despite stating viral fever and missing the show's shoot, the actress was spotted in the same evening at a restaurant in Mumbai. The daily reported that the actress looked in the pink of health.
Whether the actress gave the finale a deliberate miss remains under shroud. Since Shetty shares a great rapport with Khan, it becomes intriguing as to why would the actress leave out the director's invitation unless for a valid reason.
On the other hand, an India Times report claimed that the actress braved her viral fever and flew to Goa recently where "Singham Returns" shooting continued. Khan, as the report claimed, did not want to cause delay to the film's shooting and worked without taking any break.
"Singham Returns" is set for release on 15 August 2014.
