Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan is on a roll. After the success of "Kapoor and Sons," Fawad has been getting multiple Bollywood movie offers and the latest one is from Salman Khan's production house.
Fawad impressed Salman with his debut movie "Khoobsurat" and since then the "Sultan" actor has wanted to cast the Pakistani hottie in one of his productions. Salman's production house – Salman Khan Films – had earlier approached Fawad to star in their musical drama "Jugalbandi" along with Anil Kapoor.
However, latest we hear is that the "Kapoor and Sons" actor was not too keen on doing that musical drama and instead will be seen in another SKF's production.
"Fawad was to replace Saif in Jugalbandi, so now they are still on the lookout for an actor to step into that role. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor and Jacqueline are in the film. Once the third actor is finalised, the announcement will be made," DNA quoted a source as saying.
"Amar Butala, who's heading SKF, has been in constant touch with Fawad and it's true that the two have finally decided to work together. But it's not for Jugalbandi. Fawad has greenlit Filmistaan director Nitin Kakkar's next film instead," the source added.
There is no official announcement about it, but the daily reported that the film will go on floors after Salman's next venture with Kabir Khan. Kabir's upcoming directorial "Tubelight," will go on floors in July and will also feature Sohail Khan.
SKF production will then decide which movie to start next – Nitin Kakkar's directorial starring Fawad or "Jugalbandi."
In other news, both Salman and Fawad are in Madrid, Spain, to attended the IIFA Awards 2016. While Fawad will be seen hosting IIFA Rocks 2016 with Karan Johar, Salman will be seen performing on the main day.
