Vin Diesel and late Paul Walker's movie "Furious 7", which is popularly known as "Fast & Furious 7", has got an earth-shattering opening in India at the box office. It has created history at the box office in the country.
As per the trade reports, "Fast & Furious 7" has got the best opening for a Hollywood movie in India. It has reportedly earned remarkable ₹16.5 crore on the first day in India. The film was released in about 2,000 screens in the country in multiple languages and the screen count itself is a record for an English film.
Trade tracker Sreedhar Pillai has confirmed the news and wrote, "#FastFurious7 creates record opening on day 1 - Rs 16.5 Cr!" This, by any margin, is a huge number in India.

The interesting part of the story is that the film has got a better opening than the Hindi films released in 2015. The exact business made by the film is yet to be revealed.
Leading trade tracker Taran Adarsh Tweeted, "#FastAndFurious7 all set to emerge BIGGEST opener [Hollywood films] in India. Also, HIGHEST opener of 2015, overtaking Hindi films."

This film is considered as a special and emotional by the fans of "Fast and Furious 7" franchise as this is the last movie of Paul Walker, who died in road accident in 2013. Following his shocking death, the makers were forced to re-write the story at parts and this delayed the release.
