Vin Diesel seemed to have dropped the official title of the "Fast & Furious 7" sequel at Teen Choice Awards and it looks like the title of the movie could be "Fast 8".
In April, it was announced that the "Fast & Furious" franchise will get an eighth instalment, but the official title of the flick wasn't revealed. Various rumours have been doing the rounds, speculating that the film would either be called "Furious 8" or "Fast 8".
Now, it looks like there's finally some clarity. During his acceptance speech at the Teen Choice Awards, Vin reportedly let the official title slip out of his mouth. After his emotional speech, where he recalled his dear friend Pablo aka Paul Walker and gave a shout out to his daughter, Meadow Walker. Vin concluded by saying: "I love all of you. I love all of you, and until Fast 8..."
Unlike its previous counterparts, the eight film's title has no ampersand. The previous edition was called "Furious 7" in short, which the fans believed went well with the plot of the film. Now, as per Vin's promises, the title "Fast 8" also seems quite a fit.
Previously, the "Riddick" star had hinted that the possible title for the eighth film could be called "F8" or "Fate" as he believed that destiny is keeping the series on track. It looks like "Fast 8" is almost close to what Vin Diesel had promised.
"Fast 8" is schedule to be released on 14 April, 2017.
