"Fast & Furious 7", which is scheduled for release next year, is in the final stages and buzz has it that it could appear at the Comic Con. The film is garnering lot of buzz, especially because it was completed after the death of Paul Walker, who was one of the lead actors of the movie.
Accordign to reports, one of the stars of the film, Dwayne Johnson, would be seen at this year's Comic Con, sparking off speculation that the film may go to the film festival.
"Fast & Furious 7″ has had a tough production, so some Hall H love could give the film a boost on social media and beyond," reported Variety.
The movie suffered a huge setback after the tragic death of Walker on Nov 30, 2013 with the production of the film being put to a halt for a long time. The shooting of the movie resumed only after they found Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb.
It is reported that Walker's character Brian O' Connor might retired from the film and Cody would have a new character to himself which he would continue to play in the upcoming sequels.
Meanwhile, Johnson recently suggested in his chitchat with Belfast Telegraph that "Fast & Furious 7" is a special film with sentiments attached to it.
"Any time you lose a loved one, it's tough, and we all deal with it in our own certain way. I think the studio was very challenged to try and work out how we were going to continue to make that movie without Paul, which was a very challenging and difficult thing to do. I feel like this version of the Fast & Furious movie is going to be very special. It's going to be emotional and I think audiences are going to appreciate it," he said.
Johnson shared screen space with Walker in "Fast & Furious 5", "Fast & Furious 6" and halfway in "Fast & Furious 7".
