Eager fans are awaiting the release of "Fast & Furious 7" in 2015. Recently, a new movie still was released on the film's official Facebook page, which shows Paul Walker and Vin Diesel sharing an intense moment. In the picture Walker is facing the camera while Diesel is gazing at him. The caption of the intriguing still reads: "Brian O'Connor in FF7."
Connor is Walker's name in the film series. He is a former LAPD officer and street racer who has an Irish ancestry. He is married to Jordana Brewster's character Mia Toretto. "Fast & Furious 7" will be the last time that Walker will be seen playing Connor on screen. The actor passed away last year in November in a tragic car accident.
He was coming from a charity gala when his car hit an electric pole, thus leading to his untimely demise. Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb Walker finished the remaining scenes of the actor.
Recently, Paul's father Paul Walker III spoke about Cody and Caleb stepping into the shoes of his late son. He said that both the brothers were welcomed in the "F&F" family.
"They said, 'Dad, these people really loved Paul!' And I said, 'Yeah, now they love you. You're the same They're the same as Paul. They're all chipped from the same brick," said Paul's dad to ET Online.
Paul III also said that Walker was attached to all his "Fast & Furious" co-stars and Diesel has no idea "how highly Paul thought of him."
Diesel plays Dominic Toretto in the "F&F" series. He is the head of the Fast 7 gang and just like Connor, is an ace street racer. On many occasions Diesel has fondly spoken about Walker. After Paul's death, Diesel had said in an interview that it was the gloomiest time of his life
"It's a heavy thing, Michael. You know?" Diesel said. "I grew up in the bouncer world, and we lost people while we were bouncing. But the brotherhood in Paul Walker was something completely different," said the actor to show hosts of "Live with Kelly and Michael," as reported by MTV.
"Fast & Furious 7" will release in April 2015. Film's official name is "Furious 7."
