'Fast & Furious 7': Dwayne Johnson's Character's Name Asked in 'Valley Run' Campaign

"Fast & Furious 7" is one of the most anticipated films of 2015. The makers of the film are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. Now that the film is just months away from release, fresh and interesting promotional strategies are coming into play.

The recent post on the film's official Facebook page asked fans to rev up their engines and get ready to be part of the "Valley Run" campaign. The contest asked fans to shares posts, answer questions and reply to answers with ‪#‎FF7 #ValleyRun2015. The first question was about Dwayne Johnson,  where fans were asked to name his character. The second question was on the name of the actor who plays Ian Shaw.

Both the Facebook posts got more than seven thousand likes and fans were quick to reveal the name of both the characters. "Fast & Furious 7" is the seventh instalment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise. It has been officially titled as "Furious 7."

The first trailer of the film has already been released and proved to be a major hit among fans. The film will begin from where "F&F6" left off. It will see Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) taking revenge for his brother Owen Shaw's death. Ian will go in search of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) as he thinks he is responsible for his brother's demise.

It is expected that there is will be a major clash between Diesel and Statham's characters. One of the stills previously released from the film showed Toretto and Ian in a faceoff while in another still, Ian was seen in a fist fight with Luke Hobbs. Both the stills were released on the film's Facebook page.

"Fast & Furious 7" is scheduled to be released in April this year. The film also stars deceased actor Paul Walker.
