Farhan Akhtar and Shah Rukh Khan might not share the screen space in the upcoming film "Raees".
Apparently, the "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" actor has opted out of his film "Raees" due to date issues.
Last year in December, the director of the film Rahul Dholakia announced that Khan and Akhtar would work together in his film. SRK will be playing a bootlegger, while Akhtar will be playing the role of a policeman.
He also said that the film will go on floors after monsoons and will hit screens in 2015.
But due to Akhtar's busy schedule, the actor has opted out of the film.
Akhtar is one of the busiest actors in B-town at present. After the success of his film "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" last year, Akhtar is in demand with top filmmakers approaching him with films offer.
Akhtar has already lined up for two films apart from his own production "Raees". He will be seen in sister Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do" alongside Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. Akhtar is also working in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's untitled flick which will be directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
While Zoya's film will reportedly go on floors in June, Chopra's film shooting will start by September.
The shooting of "Raees" and Chopra's film is slated for same period following which the actor opted out of his own production, Bollywood Hungama reported.
But Akhtar will be still involved in the project as a producer.
Meanwhile, with "Raees," the year 2015 will see a fresh on-screen pair in Bollywood as Sonam Kapoor is signed for the leading lady role. This is for the first time SRK will work opposite Kapoor. [Read the full report here]
