Anushka Sharma, who will soon be seen in her maiden production venture "NH10", recently made a shocking statement.
The actress, when she appeared on Farah Khan's new TV show "Farah Ki Daawat", said that she finds Salman Khan's "Bigg Boss" show "depressing".
"Anushka and Farah were discussing Bigg Boss. She certainly isn't a fan of Salman's show and she was openly discussing her opinion about it. She called Bigg Boss depressing," reported Bollywood Life.
Ironically, Sharma made her bold confession in the same channel (Colors) that airs "Bigg Boss".
While celebs are known to play safe in public, Sharma's statement seemed to have come as a shock to Farah, who hosted the extended version of the reality show "Bigg Boss Halla Bol".
Sharma's revelation came just after Salman, who has often been compared to Sharma's boyfriend and cricket player Virat Kohli, termed the batsman as "too metrosexual".
However, considering Salman and his reality show's popularity, Sharma's opinion may not go down well with "Bigg Boss" fans.
The "PK" actress came on Farah's show along with her mother, Karan Johar, and "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" actor Ayushmann Khurana. The episode was a success with Sharma, who exhibited her culinary skills and treated Farah to her tasty paneer dish.
Meanwhile, her "NH10" stars Neil Bhoopalam and is based on a couple's (Sharma and Bhoopalam) road trip that goes terribly wrong. The film will see Sharma in a never-seen-before avatar and will hit theatres on 13 March, 2015.
