The Fantasy Premier League is back after the international break, and what amazing matches are in store for football fans. Manchester United vs Arsenal is one of the mammoth matches in Gameweek 12, but then, which Premier League matches are dull and boring. None, I say.
And with this Fantasy Premier League, it never gets boring. So, there are few important things, which you need to keep note of before you make transfers for GW 12.
After the international break, it is always important to keep a track of your players whether they suffered any injury or not while playing for their respective countries. Remember some of the players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss the next match after receiving the fifth yellow card of the season against Swansea in their last PL match.
There are some big names like Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Alexis Sanchez, Hector Bellerin, Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho, Wayne Rooney, Marouane Fellaini, Mousa Demble, Dele Alli and Gareth Barry among others, who could watch the game from the stands.
Though some of the players mentioned above could feature for their club, as managers might take the risk depending on the injury and also the importance of the match. They might take the risk, but will FPL managers take that chance? As there are options elsewhere.
However, if you have these players in your squad, you have come at the right place where I will provide you some replacements for these players, and it just might help you earn some important points and also bragging rights in your FPL circle of friends.
As it presently stands, star midfielders like Coutinho, Hazard, Lallana, Alli, Barry are in the doubtful/set to miss list. You might have some like-to-like replacements as well. Be clever and looks for players, who might be labelled midfielders, but play a more attacking role. So, two players, who should immediately be looked into are Roberto Firmino and Kevin De Bruyne. The duo should be your first choice as they have already been amongst the goals in PL, and also play against easier opponents. Liverpool play Southampton and Manchester City play Crystal Palace.
Other options include Arsenal's Ozil. He might be in great form, but remember Arsenal are playing against United. If that does not matter to you, with Sanchez doubtful, Theo Walcott could also be a wise choice.
And for those of you who do not want to spend much, look for players like Etienne Capoue, Heung-Min Son and Nathan Redmond, who are in decent touch. With Everton playing Swansea, who are in poor form, picking players like Yannick Bolasie and Ross Barkely may benefit you.
Ibrahimovic is the biggest miss this week along with Costa. Though Costa might play, Zlatan has been suspended so you have to change him or keep in him on your bench. If you have additional money in the bank go for Sergio Aguero, else Romelu Lukaku, who will come cheaper, should be the right choice. With Rooney and Costa both doubtful, the above options of Aguero and Lukaku are tempting.
Bellerin has been one of the best defenders for Arsenal, but it is time to part ways with the player as he will only be back after a month due to knee injury. If you are an Arsenal fan, go for Laurent Koscielny else look for Chelsea defenders, who have been clean at the back. May be, Gary Cahill.
