Comedian Kapil Sharma, who recently left "Comedy Nights With Kapil", has been replaced by Krushna Abhishek on the popular show. The news has not only disappointed the viewers but also several Bollywood celebrities. It has been reported that Kapil will start his new show soon.

However, in a recent poll conducted by IBTimes India, readers were asked to choose who, according to them, is a better host of "Comedy Nights With Kapil". As per the results, Kapil received 84.63% votes and Krushna got a mere 15.37%.

Apart from the voters, even "Comedy Nights Bachao" host Krushna said in an interview that the audience might not like this change initially. "Right now there is a lot of negativity. Log abhi hamein bahot galiyaan denge for few months. But ultimately, there is a set of audience who'll watch comedy, and if they like our new show, they will give their love to it," India Today quoted Krushna as saying.

"I haven't snatched Comedy Nights from him (Kapil). When Colors offered me the show, they told me since they can't do it with Kapil, they want to rope me in. If there is any bad blood, it is between Colors and Kapil, not me and Kapil," he added.

It was earlier reported that the reason behind Kapil's exit was his conflict with Colors Channel. His entire "family" of entertainers have left "Comedy Nights With Kapil" (CNWK) with him, but Navjot Singh Sidhu stayed on.

On the other hand, the makers of the show have changed the name of "CNWK" to "Comedy Nights Live" and the first episode with new host Krushna will be aired on 31 January.
