Kapil Sharma's debut film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon", which released on 25 September, had a good opening at box office and the film has crossed Rs 50 crore mark worldwide within a week.
The "Comedy Nights With Kapil" host made his debut on silver screen with the film directed by Abbas Mustan and it seems people loved his performance in it.
In a poll, IBTimes India asked the viewers to vote for their favourite film among "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon", "Calendar Girls" and "Bhaag Johnny", which were all released together nine days ago.
After a week, the poll result is that the audience liked Kapil's flick the most.
While "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" (KKPK) polled 72.55% votes, "Bhaag Johnny" and "Calendar Girls" got only 18.82% and 8.63% votes respectively.
The critics' reviews were mixed for "KKPK", while the other two failed to impress the critics as well as the viewers.
After Kareena Kapoor Khan-starrer "Heroine", "Calendar Girls" is another average film by the "Fashion" director Madhur Bhandarkar.
On the other hand, "Bhaag Johnny" is a comeback film of Zoa Morani after her debut in 2011 with "Always Kabhi Kabhi"; neither the film's trailer nor the movie has impressed the audience.
But the makers of "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" managed to do a good business. Bollywood celebs, including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan, lauded Kapil's debut film.
In film "KKPK", Kapil is seen romancing four heroines -- Elli, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur and Sai Lokur. This is the first comedy film for action-thriller producers Abbas Mustan.
Written by Anukalp Goswami, "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" also features Arbaaz Khan and Varun Sharma.
