Actress Deepika Padukone is featuring in two movies this year-end: "Tamasha" and "Bajirao Mastani."
While "Tamasha" released on 27 November, "Bajirao Mastani" will hit the screens on 18 December.
The roles played by Deepika in these two films are quite different, but in which character does the audience want to watch her?
A poll was conducted by IBTimes India last week, and her fans chose "Bajirao Mastani" over "Tamasha" for Deepika.
Though "Tamasha" has already released, the glimpse of her challenging role in the "Bajirao Mastani" trailer has overshadowed everything.
According to the poll, 95.02% audience voted for "Bajirao Mastani", while 4.98% voted for "Tamasha".
In Imtiaz Ali's romantic-comedy film, Deepika plays the character of Tara Maheshwari, a quick, eloquent and emotionally agile girl.
"Tamasha" is bringing back the popular on-screen pair of Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor, who were last seen in the blockbuster flick "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani".
On the other hand, in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, Deepika plays the character of a warrior, Mastani. The film is the love story of Peshwa Bajirao (played by Ranveer Singh) and Mastani (second wife of Bajirao).
It also features Priyanka Chopra as the first wife of Bajirao, Kashibai, in a pivotal role.
Deepika will be seen performing many action sequences with swords. Her never-seen-before look revealed in the film's trailer has already captured millions of hearts.
