Fallout 4 loyalists owning Sony PS4 consoles and fretting about the lack of mods for their gaming platform now have lots to cheer about as this development is hinted at officially by folks at Bethesda. However, any official timeline about any such release is yet to surface even unofficially at this point in time.
According to a tweet by Pete Hines, Vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda, folks at the company consider the release of Fallout 4 PS4 mods as a priority. The mod support for PS4 seems to be on the to-do list of Bethesda developers and designers if the latest tweet is anything to go by. Check out the tweet below:
This tweet was in response to a query by an apparent PS4/Fallout 4 loyalist who wanted to know a status on the PS4 mods. At this juncture, it is worth noting that Fallout 4 mods are available for Xbox One from May this year.
After this development, rumour mills were abuzz about Bethesda releasing PS4-exclusive Fallout 4 mods, but this did not happen and the apparent reason was attributed to the internal designing and inside logic of the PS4 console.
Nonetheless, with the latest development, loyalists can at least hope to see Fallout 4 mods for PS4 consoles at least in the future if not immediately. But Pete Hines has not made public any timeline or release date for these mods at this point in time.
