When Bethesda announced that it will be participating in its first E3 2015 press conference, Fallout fans were exhilarated that finally they will have something to cheer about. However, they will be disappointed now since Bethesda's E3 Invite does not have any mention of the most awaited and speculated post-apocalyptic gaming title, Fallout 4.
The E3 Invite shows off characters from some of Bethesda games like Wolfenstein, Doom, The Evil Within, Elder Scrolls Online and Dishonored. But, Fallout 4 makes a conspicuously absent in the game.
Nevertheless, Fallout fans should not be disappointed as most games that have been teased by Bethesda happen to be recent games. Gameranx points out that it is already known that Wolfenstein is going into a sequel mode and Elder Scrolls Online was rebranded with change in its cost. So it is highly doubtful if other games mentioned above will get sequels too.
The speculation is that all the games mentioned above are part of the audience waiting for Bethesda to reveal a new game. Could it be Fallout 4? Only time can tell.
But many who commented on the official post were hopeful of Fallout 4 reveal. One commentator said, "The front row question mark is a hint at fallout 4. It's a case of conspicuous by absence. There will certainly be a storm of hatred if they don't reveal it methinks..."
The Invite says that it is hosting E3 Showcase event at Dolby Theatre on 14 June. Interested can register here before 4 May and be among the select lucky group to receive official invites for themselves and one guest to the E3 event.
