A poster featuring Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan with Hollywood actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie has gone viral on social media, instigating rumours that the three stars will come together for a movie.
The movie reportedly starring Shah Rukh, DiCaprio and Jolie is being made by Martin Scorsese and is titled as "Xtreme City". The film is supposedly a cross-cultural thriller.
But a source close to the actor has clarified that no such movie is in the making and that the poster is fake.
In 2011, there were reports that Shah Rukh met DiCaprio, Jolie and Scorsese in Berlin along with Mushtaq Sheikh -- SRK's biographer and screenplay writer -- to discuss the story.
However, the source refuted these reports and said that they were baseless.
"But he did not attend any such meeting. The reports were baseless and there is no such film being planned. SRK's fans have made pages on Facebook and are sharing the poster. People should not consider it true as the information is not shared by Shah Rukh's official account," Mid-Day quoted a source close to Shah Rukh as saying.
Shah Rukh is currently busy with three Bollywood projects, including Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale", Maneesh Sharma's "Fan" and Rahul Dholakia's "Raees". The three films featuring SRK in the lead role will release in the next one year.
Talking about the Bollywood projects of the actor, the source said that the international project is not happening.
"A fan must have made the poster to publish it online. Since it features big actors, the poster has started doing the rounds once again," the tabloid quoted the source as saying.
