The much-awaited Malayalam movie, "Iyobinte Pusthakam", is set to release soon. The latest buzz is that the fans would be able to watch this magnum opus movie on 7 November.
The film, which was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres by the end of October, is now reportedly set to release on the first weekend of November.
With the release of "Iyobinte Pusthakam", the first weekend of November will get more competitive as Mammootty's "Varsham" and Vinayan's 3D "Little Superman" are all set to release on 6 and 7 November respectively. Both these films have a lot of expectations and industry is also awaiting a huge turn-over in terms of box office collections.
Meanwhile "Iyobinte Pusthakam" is touted as a period thriller and is directed by Amal Neerad. The story of the film is set during the colonial period in Kerala.
Fahadh Fasil plays role of Aloshi Gomber, a young man who likes to live his life in his own terms and Lal will play the title role of Iyob who is Aloshi's father.
Jayasurya can be seen in the movie in a fresh look of Angoor Rawther. Isha Sharwani will play role of Martha, who is also the love interest of Aloshi.
The audience will also get to see Padmapriya as Rahel, Reenu Mathews as Annamma, Lena as Kazhali, Vinayakan as Chemban, Chemban Vinod Jose as Dimitri, Jinu Joseph as Ivan, Sai Yusuf as Harrison.
TG Ravi, Aashiq Abu, Shebin Benson, Saritha Kuku and Nebish Benson will also be seen in important roles.
The cinematography of the film is also handled by Amal Neerad and the story and the script are penned by Gopan Chithambaram and Shyam Pushkaran. The music is composed by Neha Nair and Yakzan Gary Pereira.
"Iyobinte Pusthakam" is jointly produced by Fahadh Faasil and Amal Neerad and is distributed by A&A Release.
