Putting all rumours to an end, cinematographer turned director Rajeev Ravi revealed the truth behind rumours about Fahadh Faasil in his Bollywood film. The director confirmed that he is planning to do a film with Fahadh but not a Bollywood film.
"I am surprised to hear news like that. I have not even thought about a film in Hindi. It is true that I am planning a film with Fahadh. I have not started writing the story of the film yet. However, the plot of the movie is somewhat confirmed. The story is set in Mumbai. May be all the rumors sprouted over the fact that it is set in Mumbai. I will be proceeding with the new film's story only after the release of my new film "Njan Steve Lopez," said Rajeev Ravi to Manorama Online about the rumours surrounding his new film.
The director is currently doing the post production of his new film "Njan Steve Lopez" starring Farhaan Faasil and Aahana Krishna Kumar. Farhaan is the youngest son of veteran director Fazil and brother of Fahadh Faasil. The heroine of the film Aahana Krishnakumar is the eldest daughter of actor Krishna Kumar.
Farhaan Faasil will play the character of Steve Lopez, who is an adolescent boy from Trivandrum and the film is his biography. He believes that things can only get better. He is naive, dreamer and shares this virtual candy floss world with Anjali, the love of his life. The character of Anjali is played by Aahana. Both of them are son and daughter to police officers in the film. Not much is disclosed about the film as the team doesn't want to reveal the story line.
The dialogue for Ravi's story is written by Santhosh Echikkanam, who had also scripted "Annayum Rasoolum." Sync sound is done by S. Radhakrishnan and the camera is handled by Pappu. Kunal Sharma, Anurag Kashyap's sound designer will design the sound for the film. "Njan Steve Lopez" is expected to hit screens by August 8.
Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil is busy finishing his schedules before his marriage with South Indian actress Nazriya Nazim. Their last film together "Bangalore Days" directed by Anjali Menon is a super hit. The couple, who got engaged in February, will soon tie knot in the month of August.
