Developer Codemasters announced a new racing video game, "F1 2016," which is expected to be released in Summer 2016. "F1 2016" is the official video game of the 2016 FIA Formula One World Championship, according to the post on the developer's official blog.
"F1 2016" is expected to feature a new immersive career mode. It will consist of 10 seasons of F1 motorsport. The post notes that the game would feature Safety Car and Virtual Safety Car. It would also have challenging new street circuit in Baku, Azerbaijan for the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe.
Lee Mather, the principal game designer for Codemasters, revealed that this was a "massive step forward" for the franchise. He stressed that the new mode will allow the creation of player's own career spanning 10 seasons. This new game will offer players with the "drama and vehicle development." He noted that "F1 2016" will be loaded with upgrade system that is fully integrated into practice development programme that mimics those happening in real life.
Players will be able to master every circuit with track acclimatisation tests, tyre testing, honing race strategy, which will add Research and Development points that will help in upgrading the vehicle.
The new career mode will allow players to select an avatar, helmet, the colour, Formula One teams and many more.
The career mode is realistic as the post promises players that "stunning" hospitality areas will be for every team, and it will feature new, fully-captured and voice-acted Research and Development Engineer and Player Agent.
"F1 2016" would be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
