K-pop band f(x)'s contract with media house SM Entertainment is about to end, and rumours suggest that Krystal may leave the company soon after, according to Allkpop. Speculations about her departure arose after Jessica Jung's sister started dating EXO member Kai.
One popular theory on Krystal's rumoured exit suggests that the singer might leave because of her relationship with EXO member Kai. Earlier, SM Entertainment confirmed that Kai is indeed dating Krystal. The two singers, who began their career in the media company, have known each other for 10 years.
Krystal's sister also quit the company after she confirmed her relationship with Tyler Kwon, CEO of Coridel Entertainment.
Krystal, 22, has also been exploring the fashion scene in South Korea. She has even expanded her career under a new label, reported Allkpop. The media outlet pointed out that the f(x) band member may follow her sister, Jessica's footsteps and join Coridel Entertainment. Currently, the Korean media label handles Jessica's solo music career and her fashion line.
SM Entertainment-managed f(x) is one of the more popular girl bands in Korea. Band members Victoria, Amber, Luna and Krystal, released their new album titled "4 Walls" in 2015.
Since then, the band has maintained a relatively low-profile. Neither SM Entertainment nor Krystal have made a statement about her exit from the company.
