Telugu movie "Express Raja" starring Sharwanand and Surabhi has completed Censor Board formalities and is now gearing up for a grand release across the globe on 14 January.
The makers of "Express Raja" held a special screening for the officials of the Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad this morning. Minutes after the screening started, PRO-turned-producer G Sriniwasa Kumar aka SKN tweeted, ".@UV_Creations Racy musical entertainer #EXPRESSRAJA CENSOR screening started. All set to Jan 14th Release."
The officials of the Censor board are said to be impressed with the first copy of "Express Raja" and have awarded the film a clean "U" certificate. Hours later, G Sriniwasa Kumar once again tweeted, "#ExpressRaja censor passed with CLEAN U certificate. Jan 14th grand release all over RT & share."
"Express Raja" has been produced by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under banner UV Creations. The producers are evidently happy about the 'U' certificate and tweeted: "#ExpressRaja censored with "Clean U" certificate!!"
"Express Raja" is a romantic family entertainer and besides direction, Merlapeka Gandhi has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie. Sharwanand and Surabhi are playing the lead roles in the movie and their amazing chemistry featured in its promos has raised the expectations from the film.
Praveen Lakkaraju has composed music for the songs and background score of "Express Raja". Its audio, which was recently released, has impressed movie buffs and they are waiting to watch the picturisation of the songs on screen. The movie is now all set to lock horns with "Nannaku Prematho", "Dictator" and "Soggade Chinni Nayana" during this Sankranthi festival.
