"Exodus: Gods and Kings" stars Christian Bale, Joel Edgerton, Sigourney Weaver, John Turturro, Ben Kingsley, Maria Valverde and Aaron Paul in the lead roles.
The upcoming Biblical epic drama, "Exodus: Gods and Kings", directed by Ridley Scott and written by Steven Zaillian, is set to hit the screens worldwide on 12 December 2014.
The film stars Christian Bale as Moses, Joel Edgerton as Ramesses II, Sigourney Weaver as Tuya, John Turturro as Seti I, Ben Kingsley as Nun, Maria Valverde as Zipporah and Aaron Paul as Joshua.
"Exodus: Gods and Kings" is the story of one man's daring courage to take on the might of an empire. Using state of the art visual effects and 3D immersion, Scott brings new life to the story of the defiant leader Moses as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses, setting 400,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues," according to the film's official synopsis.
The film interprets the exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt led my Moses and will be released by 20 Century Fox.
The film's premiere, which was held at the Odeon Leicester Square in Central London on 3 December 2014, was attended by the cast and crew of the epic adventure.
