After portraying a criminal in popular television reality show "Crime Scene 2", EXO member Xiumin is likely to join the cast of upcoming Korean film "Kim Seon Dal".
Although the star and his representatives are tight lipped about his movie debut, SM Entertainment released a statement through X Sports News.
"Xiumin has received a casting offer for the movie 'Kim Seon Dal' (working title) and is looking over it positively," Soompi quoted the record label as saying.
The movie, which is based on a classic novel of the same name, will be directed by Park Dae Min and will reportedly revolve around a folk hero named Kim Seon Dal.
While South Korean actor Yoo Seung Ho is speculated to play the titular character, Xiumin is expected to appear in the role of his close friend, who is kind in nature, innocent and wants to become the best con man.
If the "Call Me Baby" singer takes up the role, he will be the sixth EXO member to make a big screen debut after Suho, Lay, DO, Baekhyun and Chanyeol.
Recently, the star had impressed his fans and earned four million Won (around $3653) through his performance in "Crime Scene 2".
