DO, one of the main vocalists of popular South Korean music band EXO, will reportedly play the lead role in upcoming Korean movie "Hyung".
The film revolves around the lives of two brothers and the various challenges they face after the younger sibling gets involved in an accident.
SM Entertainment informed that the movie's creative team is in talks with the EXO member to portray the role of the younger brother on the big screen. According to the entertainment agency, the celeb is currently reviewing his casting offer.
DO is busy filming the movie, "Pure Love", at present and if the K-Pop star signs the project, then he could probably share screen space with Jo Jung Suk. The popular actor is in final talks with the production team, stated Soompi.
"Hyung" is directed by Kwon Soo Kyung of "Barefoot Gi Bong" fame and written by "Miracle in Cell No. 7″ creator Yoo Young Ah. The production process of the film is scheduled to begin by October.
EXO member DO made his film debut last year by portraying a high school boy named Tae-young in the movie, "Cart".
Recently, the K-Pop star was criticised by one of his followers for his new look. The admirer uploaded two photos of the celeb on social networking site Instiz, under the title "Why a man should work out (feat D.O)", according to Koreaboo.
However, many of his fans were impressed with his broader shoulders and also appreciated him. The messages ranged from, "It looks like he just gained a bit of weight," "Oh he really worked to grow those...amazing...," to "Cutie—->> Real Man."
