Cynthia Lee Fontaine is one of the most beloved contestants from Season 8 of "RuPaul's Drag Race." She was eliminated in episode 3 "RuCo's Empire," but she has not skipped a single beat because of that setback.
Fontaine's career is blowing up and has quite a few performances. When she is not teaching her fans how to dance on her Youtube channel, she is looking for new business opportunities, like trade-marking the short-shorts that got her eliminated from "Drag Race." (See video shared on Instagram)
Despite the busy schedule, she took the time to speak with International Business Times, India about her time in "RuPaul's Drag Race." Find the edited excerpts from the interview below:
International Business Times: How would you describe your journey in "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 8?
Cynthia Lee Fontaine: The first time I saw RuPaul on the show was just a magical experience for me because I have always looked up to him since I was just a young child.
IBT: Social media posts prove that you are one of the beloved queens of the season. Does that make up for not winning "Drag Race?"
Fontaine: That makes me feel happy because I have the opportunity to share the love and my personality to all the universe!
IBT: How did you feel about the big reveal in "RuCo'sEmpire?"
Fontaine: I love it! I mean, I love acting and it was a really a fun challenge. I also had the opportunity to work with such an incredible group of performers.
IBT: You had shed tears for your "Puerto-Rican sister" when Naysha was eliminated. But when she got back, you got eliminated.
Fontaine: I love my sister and respect her career as a pageant Queen. I'm glad she had a chance to come back, even though it didn't last!

IBT: What was your favourite challenge to do?
Fontaine: The Acting challenge :) It was so much fun and love to create characters.
IBT: Which is the hardest part for you – main challenge, runway looks/walks or lip syncing for your life?
Fontaine: None of the above. I enjoy everything on the show. I love "RuPaul's Drag Race" so much!
IBT: How do you feel about adding a new term – "cucu" – to the LGBTQ dictionary?
Fontaine: The "Dragtionary" needed it! It was about time [Laughs]
IBT: Bob had described you as a genuinely nice human being and it is not often one hears such heartfelt compliments in reality shows. How does that make you feel?
Fontaine: Fantastic! It's a just a blessing to hear that coming for one of my sisters, who I love so very much and that I can share with all the rest of the universe!
IBT: What do you want fans to remember about Cynthia Lee Fontaine from "Drag Race?"
Fontaine: My personality, how talented I am and how much I love my sisters and the show.
IBT: Which queen are you rooting for in "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 8?
Fontaine: All of my sisters! They all deserve to be the winner. I know all of them and they work hard to become part of this amazing show.
