Bigg Boss 11 contestant Arshi Khan seems to be in trouble as an arrest warrant has been issued on Monday against her for not attending court proceedings for the last three months. A case is in the court against Arshi for allegedly trying to create enmity between communities by painting the national flags of India and Pakistan on her bare body.
Jalandar magistrate court issued an arrest warrant against Arshi for not attending the court proceedings for the last three months. The court ordered police to enter the Bigg Boss 11 house, and arrest Arshi.
This is the third time that the controversial diva is skipping the trial, and the second arrest warrant against her.
However, Arshi's publicist Flynn Remedios told International Business Times, India that even though the arrest warrant is still valid, he got a stay order on the same. The stay will be valid till January 15, 2018.
Flynn said that he managed to get a stay order on the arrest as Arshi has been locked up in Bigg Boss 11 house.
"An arrest warrant was issued against Arshi Khan on Monday by a Jalandar magistrate's court. I could not attend the court as I was down with fever and as we all know, Arshi Khan is locked inside the BIgg Boss house. Arshi Khan has been inside the Bigg Boss house since October 1st and this was the third time that the case came up for hearing in the last three months," he told IBTimes in an email.
"However, on producing proof that Arshi Khan is locked up inside the BIgg Boss house, the court was pleased to stay the execution of the warrant till January 15, 2018. In simple terms, this means that the arrest warrant still exists and is not cancelled, but the police will not take action till January 15. If Arshi Khan attends the court before that, the warrant may be cancelled or else the police will execute the warrant," Flynn added.
The case was filed by a lawyer in Jalandar after Arshi had raised eyebrows for painting national flags of the two nations on her semi-nude body.
