Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor might work in "Dedh Ishqiya" director Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming film, but the ex-lovers will not share screen space.
Rumours have been doing the round that the "Jab We Met" co-stars will work together in Chaubey's film. However, according to reports, the ex-lovers might share screen space.
Instead, Alia Bhatt and Shahid, who are working together in "Shandaar", will be the lead pair of the film.
"It is true that Kareena is being considered for a role in the film. However, she is not meant to be sharing screen space with Sasha. The 'Shandaar' pair — Alia Bhatt and Shahid — is likely to be cast opposite one another in this project. Abhishek apparently even met her for the same," The Times of India quoted a source as saying.
The film will be thriller drama with Alia and Shahid in the lead role and storyline will focus on youth and their mindset. The film was supposed to go on floors by the end of this year.
Kareena and Shahid's last movie together was "Jab We Met" and after their bitter break-up the couple maintained a safe distance from each other. They avoided each other on public events and functions.
But it will be good to see the ex-flames working in the same movie. Meanwhile, this will be Alia and Shahid's second film together after "Shandaar". Alia and Shahid are currently shooting in the UK for Vikas Bahl's film "Shandaar".
