Estranged couple Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur, who were supposed to legally end their marriage on 25 November, may not get divorced.
A rumour doing the rounds says Delhi-based businessman Sunjay, who is said to be dating socialite Priya Chatwal, may back off from the divorce, according to a report.
Kapur's mother, who handles the family's financial matters ever since his father's demise, is against Sunjay's girlfriend Priya becoming part of the family, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror.
If rumours are anything to go by, Sunjay can't move on in his life and marry Priya nor can Karishma plan to tie the knot with her reported beau Sandeep Toshniwal if there is no divorce.
Karisma had married Sunjay in 2003. The couple have a daughter, Samaira, and a son, Kiaan.
Ever since she married Sunjay, the actress was in the news for her disturbed marital life. Rumours of the couple's split surfaced soon after the birth of their first child, . But the two made an effort to reconcile their differences and went on to have a second child.
However, things got out of hand in 2010 and Karisma decided to part ways with Sunjay. She now lives in Mumbai with her two kids and mother Babita.
