Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan may well be on the way to solving the differences with his separated wife Sussanne Khan.
According to reports, the "Agneepath" actor might soon patch up with his wife, as both the families are taking necessary initiatives to ensure that the two get back together.
A report by ABP News claims that Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan met up with Sussanne's father Sanjay Khan, in attempt to iron out the differences between the star couple.
The development has offered some optimism to the couple's close friends, who still believe the childhood lovers would reconcile soon.
The news comes just a few days after Salman Khan was seen acting mediator between the duo separately. The superstar reportedly had a long talk with Sussanne over coffee recently and is understood to have advised the interior designer to get back with Hrithik. Salman had also acted relationship advisor to Hrithik earlier this year at his New Year party.
Meanwhile, despite the breakup, Hrithik has been actively present in the lives of his in-laws. The actor had spent his birthday (10 January) with sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, along with sister-in-law Farah Khan Ali, brother-in-law Zayed Khan and their children on a yacht, and has been also spotted meeting up with Sanjay and Zarine Khan on another occasion.
The "Krrish 3" actor had shocked the film industry and his massive fan base, after he announced his separation from Sussanne in an official statement back in December. The actor's statement read that it was Sussanne who wanted to end their 13-year-old marriage.
Speculations have hinted several reasons, right from Hrithik's closeness with his "Kites" co-star Barbara Mori to Susanne's friendship with Arjun Rampal, for the couple's breakup.
